A tried and true low-maintenance floribunda that has stood the test of time, the Livin’ Easy Rose is just as popular today as when it won the All-American Rose Selection award in 1996. During spring and summer, Livin’ Easy features abundant and beautiful, fully double, citrus scented blooms that open to a shade of apricot before quickly turning to an incredible shade of vibrant orange. The disease-resistant, blackspot-free, glossy green foliage is the perfect backdrop to showcase the flowers. Livin Easy is one of the most vigorous and trouble-free roses that anyone can grow!

Growing 4 to 5 feet tall and equally as wide, the Livin Easy Rose is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings or as a colorful hedge in landscape and flowering shrub borders and home foundation plantings. A fine addition to fragrance gardens, rose gardens, cottage gardens and container gardens.

Suggested Spacing: 3.5 to 4 feet apart for hedges; 8 feet apart for space between plants

The Livin Easy Rose is easy to grow in average, moist but well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. As with all other roses, to avoid powdery mildew, morning sun is a must to dry dew from the leaves. Afternoon shade or filtered sun is fine. We suggest 6 hours of direct sun light for best flowering.

Maintenance is minimal with no pruning required, though the plant can benefit from it. An annual pruning in late winter, at which time branches can be cut back to about 18 inches above the ground, will result in a fuller plant throughout the growing season. After this hard pruning, your rose will quickly flush out and start blooming with the arrival of warmer spring temperatures. Deadheading spent flowers through the season is not necessary however will encourage more new buds and flowers.
